Jessica Biel’s 6 Carat Cushion Cut Diamond Ring

When Jessica Biel got engaged to Justin Timberlake in 2011, she managed to keep her ring on the down-low profile and we didn’t get a look at it for six years. Six, whole, years.

It wasn’t until an appearance on Jimmy Fallon in 2017 when we finally got a glimpse, when she shared a photo of her new manicure on Instagram, alongside the caption: “What, you thought I wasn’t gonna get a mani for my date with my husband’s boyfriend, @jimmyfallon?”

Jessica and Justin first got together back in 2007, when the singer asked permission from a mutual friend to ask her out by telephone. Four years later, Justin proposed on a snowboard slope in Jackson, Wyoming.

The couple got wed in a lavish ceremony in Puglia, Italy in 2012 and have been going strong ever since. Dare we say it, we think the incredible engagement ring has been a good luck charm. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

Jessica’s ring features a 6 carat cushion cut diamond. The stunning center stone is sat in a double halo setting, which showcases the diamond by allowing light to pass through and also gives the illusion of a larger carat weight.

Looking at the side of the ring, it’s easy to see that it’s vintage inspired. As well as an aquamarine gemstone on each side of the center stone, the ring also boasts pavé diamonds half-way down its band. 

The first of the spring birthstones —and Jessica’s birthstone — aquamarine is associated with tranquility, serenity, clarity, and harmony. As the official stone for 19th wedding anniversaries, it’s also a symbol for a happy and committed married life. I don’t know about you, but I don’t think they’ll have any problem making it to the 19th anniversary…

A particularly unique attribute of Jessica’s ring is the use of blackened platinum – a technique which creates a vintage effect. With all of these design features combined, this was an incredible choice for an incredible couple —- but it wouldn’t have come cheap.
